Livin for Christmas

You have got to be honest with yourself if you want to live your way.  And honestly, I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!

Is there any better time of the year? 

Christmas always begins for me in one of two places:  the car or the mall.  Why is this?  Well, it’s where I hear the first Christmas songs of the year each year. 

And then I get into the mood to buy.  2008 was a tough year and the first half of 2009 sucked.  I’ll be honest…it sucked.

I am the top performer at my office and they still had to think about sacking me.  Now, those thoughts are gone and by the time they return I’ll be retiring…if this economy holds out. 

As I read my girls article My Special Christmas Watch, I could not help but think about Christmas gifts for myself. 

Yes, mom, I’ll think about others too and your grandkids will get every little thing their hearts desire.  But right, it’s about me.

I’m am going through the list of Best Christmas Gifts for 2009 and choosing what I might need to target.  Though I do love girly-girl stuff, yes, the perfumes will be in my Christmas stocking, I am a huge fan of new technology.

And this year may have to be a new big screen a 60 incher.  Yes, I know, I’ll pay for that extra viewing space but I deserve it…so there! 

I’m gettin it!  And, then, I’ll focus on the others…stay tuned to read more about other great Christmas gifts in the near future!
