I just ordered a new laptop called the ASUS UL30A-X5 for both personal and professional use. I will tell you why.
BATTERY LIFE!
I had a Toshiba laptop which I treasured the last 3 years but it really started to get to me because the battery life sucks. In this ASUS UL30A-X5 Laptop Review, I read that this laptop has up to 12.5 hours of battery life. My first thought, “Are you kidding me?” 12.5 Hours!
I’m in. Sign me up!!!
Seriously though, most of the components inside each laptop are the same so battery life is my main concern as I take this thing on the road a lot. My Toshiba had really been suffering in that arena. It was only getting like 1/2 hour after my years of use. Yes, 1/2 hour. So, now I get 12 hours. When I am traveling, I can now watch 2 full movies on a coastal flight with no need for power.
And when I am home, I am now using my new LCD as an extra monitor which is Tres cool. I read about how to connect laptop to TV and thus I now have my laptop screen, which is very good by the way, and my LCD TV and I feel like a master air traffic controller or something with this super giant screen.
Anyway, I have been using this ASUS now for a week and totally love it. You should get one now!
