So, we are having unseasonably good weather and my friends want to play golf…on Christmas day. While I have been wanting to work on obtaining the proper golf swing, this is going to be hard to pull off with the family.
I can just imagine telling them, “Uh, yes, I will be out golfing on the 25th if that is ok?”
Their reaction would not be good.
But, everyone wants something different for Christmas. I have been focusing on everyone else and what I would like to do on Christmas, especially with this good weather, is play some golf.
I am always of the mindset that you can do anything as long as you approach correctly. I am envisioning playing from 1-5. We will have already opened presents, the kids will be busy playing with them, and I won’t be missed for this short time. Well, yes I will, but for 4 hours I can probably get away to play a round of golf. I will approach as The Christmas Gift To Me.
This might just work.
Ok, plan has been established in secret. I will be meeting Hank on the Golf Course tomorrow at 1pm. Now, I have to tell the family…I hope that don’t read my blog before I have told them…that would not be good.
